The Gray Wolf (Canis lupus), has had a complicated relationship with humans for millennia. Simultaneously revered, and persecuted, this animal inhabits a fraction of the habitat it once did. Luckily, conservation organizations such as Wolf Park in Battleground Indiana, are actively working to protect this species, and change the public’s perception of this charismatic species for the better.
